Jay
"Okay Jayce, I trust you do lead me in...safely."
Jayce
"Jay, you know that can't be. Never has, never will be." Jayce her to the building they were to check in at. He turned and waved at their dad, who frowned ahead. "Dad's waving and smiling at us."
"Jayce, don't be silly." Jay scoldingly told him. "I may be blind, but I can tell when your lying. He's flipping us the bird, isn't he?"
Jayce winced. "Pretty close. In fact, it would probably be better if he were." With Jay holding onto his belt loop, he made his way to the Rentals & Check-in building. "Now, tell me again why you didn't bring Scout; Your four-legged eyes?" He asked, though he knew the answer. "He's probably coing nuts at home right now."
Jay sighed. "Yeah, I know, but I don't think he'd be comfortable here, not to mention he probably wouldn't be alowed." They made their way to the building.
"Don't breath" Jayce said, his mouth twisted in mischief.
"Jayce Forester, that's so gross...I could do better." They mustv'e made it inside the building, cause it got about 5 degrees cooler.
Jayce went to a person, leaving Jay to fend for her own. "Hi, I'm Jayce, and that's Jay. Forester. Where do we go?"
Jay turned her blue eyes to him. "Jayce!" She hissed. "Don't be so mean, or heartless, or rude. Whatever you wanna call it."

"OK, this is Jay's key." Mahlie said laying it on the counter. She pulled another off of the hook, "And this is Jayce's key. Your cabin number is on it. Girls cabins are that way and boys are that way. They are in letter order."

Jay
Jay frowned. "Um, escuse me.Excactly what is my cabin number and where is it? Is there braille on anything here or someway I could figure out where I was..? Cause if you hadn't noticed..."
Jayce
Jayce gaped, amazed. He'd never actually heard Jay act like this...all "Up-in-your-face-smart-alicey" "Easy Fido..." He wispered, cutting her off before she could rant anymore.

Jay
"Okay, sorry." She said, embarassed that her defensive attitude had gotten the best of her. "It's just , I've been to so many places that I end up lost". Her eyes clouded over. "Your angry, arn't ya? Jeez, can't do anything right." She stared in Jayce's direction, then back in the direction of the person who'd just spoken. "Can Jayce lead me to my cabin?"
Jayce
He looked helplessly at Mahlie (of whom he knew not her name). "I thought girls and boys can't go on one anothers sides or whatever of the camp?!" He looked at Jay, who turned her slightless blue eyes on him. "Dang it Jay." He looked back to Mahlie. "Buy I'll do it if I can."

"You are aloud to go all over camp. You just can't go into the cabins." Mahlie thought a bit before she added reluctantly, "We can make an exception if she needs help unpacking or something."

Jay
may need him to help me braille the room, but after that I think I can manage." She thought. "And that should work."
Jayce
Jayce looked thoughtfully at his sister, who, at times, he seemed to forget was blind. "I'll do what she needs me to do, but I aint touchin' anything."

"I'm Mahlie. And I'm a councilor here. There are 5 other councilors as well. If you need anything just come and find one of us," Mahlie said with a smile.

Jayce
"Mmhhmm. Will do." Jayce said, moving to lead Jay down the steps...she was already down the steps, halfway down the trail to girls cabin A. "Jay, wrong way." He took flying leaps to catch up with her. "Where do you think you're goin'? Your cabins this way."
Jay
Jay frowned. "Just...feel like I should go there, that's all. Somthings troubling them. I might be over-reacting again though. Okay, lets go." She grabbed ahold of his belt loop and let him lead her away.
